As you may be aware, the law is changing from 25th May 2018, regarding how personal data is handled.

As a Business Coach and Trainer who has worked with your or a member of your organisation, I would like to outline the information I hold and how this will be used.

"In providing Business Coaching' facilitation or training services, we are an independent provider and are, therefore, responsible for complying with Data Protection Law in respect of any personal data we process in providing our services to you.

Our privacy statement (below) explains how we process personal data. You are also an independent controller responsible for complying with Data Protection Law in respect of the personal data you process and, accordingly, where you disclose personal data to us, you confirm that such disclosure is fair and lawful and otherwise does not contravene Data Protection Law. Terms used in this clause bear the same meanings as are ascribed to them in Data Protection Law."

This is the privacy statement of Kingscavil Consulting Limited and it explains how we collect and use personal information about you.

What personal information we collect:

We hold your personal information as disclosed during coaching or training, together with your personal details, as offered by yourself or your employer. These will include: telephone numbers, email addresses and postal address, where offered.

Where we collect personal information from:

All personal information is given to us, by you or your employer.

How we use your personal information:

We use your personal details as part of agreed services:

Who we share your personal information with:

We do not share your information with any other third party.

How we store your personal information:

Any handwritten information is stored securely. Contact details are all password and antivirus protected.

How long we retain your personal information for:

We retain your personal information for up to 5 years after the completion of the assignment or coaching agreement unless you request it to be destroyed.

Your rights

Access to your information - You have the right to request a copy of the personal information about you that we hold.

Correcting your information - We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate, complete and up to date and you may ask us to correct any personal information about you that you believe does not meet these standards.

Deletion of your information - You have the right to ask us to delete personal information about you, where:

Objecting to how we may use your information - You have the right at any time to require us to stop using or holding your personal information. Where we use your examples (anonymously) such as in training courses, if you ask us to, we will stop using that information unless there are overriding legitimate grounds to continue.

Restricting how we may use your information - In some cases, you may ask us to restrict how we use your information. This right might apply, for example, where we are checking the accuracy of personal information about you that we hold or assessing the validity of any objection you have made to our use of your information. The right might also apply where this is no longer a basis for using your personal information, but you don't want us to delete the data.

Withdrawing consent using your information - Where we use your personal information with your consent you may withdraw that consent at any time and we will stop using your personal information for the purpose(s) for which consent was given.
